Round table discussions will be going on related to the following topics:

1. Exchange of experiences and debate on:

• The potential of infrastructure virtualization and cloud computing (scalable computing resources, Platform-as-a-Service, Software-as-a-Service) in terms of investment cost reduction, improved management of IT resources and market offerings at a national level
• New investment schemes, alternative modes of ICT provision to underserved territories
• Requirements for setting up public-private partnerships as a means to address the problem and promote new collaboration and investment opportunities

2. Discussion and suggestions regarding IaaS, SaaS and PaaS, with focus on:

• Feasibility, challenges 
• Barriers and inhibitor
• Benefits and difficultie
• Case studies and good practices
• Legal framework, current policies, legislation, licensing,
• Interregional collaboration, exchange of experiences, community projects

Professor in the University of Patras will be held presentation about Cloud computing: advantages, obstacles and possible solutions. Stathis Karanastasis from NTUA will describe  the "State of art analysis of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS technology application in South East Europe" which has implemented also in the SECOVIA project.
